My wife has no income but this year she will make a capital gain of £30,900 how much tax will she pay.

Thanks for your question, I am Sam and I am one of the UK tax experts here on Just Answer.
The first £11,000 will be exempt - as this is the annual exemption allowance, and then the remaining gain will just be liable to 18% capital gains tax (as she has used none of her basic rate band with her annual income position)
So a capital gain bill of £3582
