I notice something different about the brakes on my toyota

Customer Question

I notice something different about the brakes on my toyota carina. I put my foot down and the car slows then the brakes seem less strong than they were and I need to push my foot further down.

Forgot to mention that the transmission warning light has shown intermittently for about four months but my local garage tested the car and found no fault was apparent with the gearbox at the time.
