1997 Toyota MR2 Starter Motor Cuts In while Driving intermittent problem, also stalled in reverse again intermittent problem both at same time aswell????

Hi,my name is mike and I will assist you with your question.
For the starter to engage while driving,this is because the starter motor is receiving a signal when it should not. The starter gets its signal to engage from the ignition switch. From the description of the issue that you are having the ignition switch is electrically failing and likely causing both issues.
