Thanks Greg

I am struggling to get decent photo as discs are still on car.

In your opinion, how long should they last if they were supplied + fitted by a Toyota dealer ?

Booked in for Thursday at different Toyota dealer and will request they give me the old ones. Wondering if I have a grievance with Toyota dealer that fitted them Jan 2011. Both dealers are part of same group and this is my 3rd Toyota from them. Just want to know how much of a fuss I should make !

Thanks

Alan

Hi Alan .

I can't believe that you need disc 25k miles since the last replacement.

Unless you drove with warn down brake pads and now have the disc damaged or they are far to warped that they can no longer be skimmed.

But you would feel this when braking by experiencing wheel shake..

The disc have a run out ,so if the brake disc has less than the factory specs then yes must be replaced .

Check yours and if you are under the specs then replace .

Normally brake disc last the life of 3 brake pads .

Need further assistance then please get back to me.

Rgds Greg

Thanks for the advise/opinions Greg.

My current Toyota dealer looks after me so hopefully we'll sort something out and I'll avoid the other dealer !

Thank you
