If i am issued with a road side traffic offence report and i have not signed it is it valid

I was issued with a traffic offence report for speeding in North Wales and in the box regarding the (you do not have to say anything etc) the copy i was given was/ has not been signed by me, basically is this legal

The short answer is that it is. All the fact that it is unsigned will mean is that they could not rely upon your signature to prove that you have received it. Since you do not deny receipt that is a non issue.

The fact that it is unsigned will not invalidate any prosecution. Obviously some people would refuse to sign altogether if that were the case and some people are genuinely incapable of signing due to their condition or behaviour.
