I got stopped on 4-5-2014 on my motorbike doing 100mph in a 60, the officer said I would be going to court but I have not heard anything yet,is there a time limit for them to start proceedings ?

They have six months from the date of the offence to lay an information before the Court. Obviously you will not know on what date they do that but the summons will be sent out a short time after that to the address that the DVLA have for you.
In fact, if this was in May 2014 then they do have until November 2014 so they are not quite out of time yet although they are getting very close to the cut off point so you may be in luck.
