I have received a letter from the driver & vehicle licensing

Customer Question

I have received a letter from the driver & vehicle licensing agency uk stating I did not appear in court on April 24th re court/fixed penalty points. I phoned dvla & they said I was given in court 6 penalty points & a fine of £890... I received no letter to appear in court, I have NOT obtained any points. Had no previous communication from court or dvla on this matter beforehand... I rang the court & dvla & neither can tell me why I should have appeared in court on April 24th... All they both say is what I got fined & 6 points given.... How do I check where or what suppose to have happened??
