Customer Question

hi I've just got a letter from the police to say that I've been charged with
1 driving under the influence of alcohol ( 225mg/100ml in blood)
2: driving with out due care and attention.
I crashed into a motorway bridge 5-6 months ago at approx. 2am. unconscious and was cut from the car with a sustained subdural haematomo. no one else was injured. bloods were taken by a doctor at 2pm
On going symptoms and not back at work (self employed professional)
3 months after the incident i sent 'my' sample (after giving the police consent) to an approved lab (Staffordshire Scientific Services). ( same day and in the same sealed envelope and from opposite the police station)
Their report results are:
Alcohol, not less the 21 mg/100mls (blood)
not in excess of the limit of 80mg/100ml as prescribed for the purpose of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
signed by the Analyst
can it be so, that the readings are different? how could that be>
what could happen? can i argue their readings?
what would the likely punishment be if convicted for the said charges considering the facts?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
regards

I suffered pre and post traumatic amnesia. I was told I was out with friends and I did drink that night. I was supposed to stay at a friends but for some reason decided to head home.
