Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.
Unfortunately, this is not likely to work at all in your situation.
There are a few reasons for this: Your tv is a very old and very basic model. It was made long before current standards were in place which the galaxy uses. Your tv does not support high resolution signals, and more importantly it is not fully HDCP compliant, which is required for most tablets to output a signal (the tablet cannot identify the tv as a secure display).
The one thing you can check here is a setting on the tab, go into settings and look for MIRRORING, and turn that on.
That is the only attribute of the tab that could cause this to fail. If that still doesn't help, then it is simply a limitation of an outdated tv that does not support the necessary features for the tab to work.
In that event, your best bet would be to hook up an external streaming device, like a google chromecast to the tv, that will let you share things from the tab to the tv via wifi.
