Hi

So its connected up with hdmi, have you replaced the hdmi lead?the lead has to be a modern lead to presently hdmi leads are now 1.4 versions

That should be the first thing to do

Let me know how this works out

Hi does the same thing cuts of and says no signal

Hi

So you hooked up something else to the TV and its doing the same with that input too, that rules out the box then in that case, hopefully you have swapped that hdmi lead because besides that and the mainboard in the set theirs nothing else that can be causing this, so please swap the hdmi lead if its still doing the same I would be suspecting a bad hdmi socket (please try another hdmi socket)or the mainboard itself.

Just one other thing why are you using a freeview box or does it have a hard drive too?

Let me know if you still have issues after doing that work above

Hi Pauline

I dont know why you have that freeview box connected to the set as the set itself has a built in freeview tuner?

Do you have the manual to the set?it will tell you what to do to set up the inbuilt tuner

Anthony
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

omg! don't have a manual

You are doing great but how can I get manual please

Expert:  info tech replied 3 years ago.
Hi Pauline

Theirs no manual on line for this set because it comes from argos what you need to do is go into the settings>>tuning and with the aerial in the back of the TV not the box follow the tuning instructions in the menu

I cant tell you exactly because I dont have the manual to the set

Anthony

ok will try that many thanks Anthony

Expert:  info tech replied 3 years ago.
Hi

You may have to go to argos to see if they have one but really you shouldnt have any problems tuning the set in no need to use that freeview box

Let me know if you need more info

A positive rating is appreciated their will be a rating bar with this post

Thanks again
