Hi
OK does the crackle increase when you increase the volume?is this happening if you use the remote and the manual volume control (assuming it does)
Anthony
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The crackle is at the same level whatever the volume. it is a similar noise to radio interference. the sound is perfect at any volume then the crackling starts will go off for a while then starts again. It does not make any difference if you use the remote or the volume control.

Hello
The unit can suffer from earth loop problems however the first thing that needs doing is the firmware, I cant find any firmware for this unit at sharp so you will need to ask them for it, their is an upgrade (version SRC97T02)
Contact them through the website customer services as this is very likely to be firmware issues
Let me know if you need more info
