On my tv stand I have a 40" tv with one scart output 2 hdmi

On my tv stand I have a 40" tv with one scart output 2 hdmi outputs, underneath I have a vhs video recorder two scarts no hdmi, underneath that I have a virgin v box with one scart and one hdmi, underneath that I have a dvd recorder with hdmi and two scarts. Before I changed my tv last week which had two scarts I was able to record by my dvd recorder and my vhs recorder now I can only record on my dvd.

You will need a scart switching box <<<click that will make the TV seem like it has more scart inputs you can get one from maplins above

Anthony sorry to be a b nusuiance as I am 77 but do I just plug the two scarts leads in and away we go. Cyril

Yes you wi;; have a lead with a scart plug on that goes to the tv on the other end of the lead will be 3 or more scart sockets that are switched you use those as if you had 3 sockets on the tv, now the one I sent you has switches on that you need to press you can get them without that but they cost far more, but yes thats about it
