I have new samsung ue406670 it worked with sky + no problem

I have new samsung ue406670 it worked with sky + no problem at first then after a week stopped. Now shows no satellite signal being received. I have checked all cables and connections with other tv and sky box everything else working just not new tv. Can you help?

OK just to verify if the TV has a hdmi input issue can you try something else that has hdmi at the same input and is it the same result if you do that?like a dvd player for example?

Tried a different sky box with the same and a different HDMI lead, also tried connecting it to alternative HDMI port on tv

OK then the sets firmware controlling the HDMI is corrupt this is not unusual for modern sets now what you need to do first is reboot the set by un-plugging it from the wall power waiting 5 mins then replugging back in again, then try the HDMI again let me know if it comes back on line please

Their is a firmware upgrade for the set here

The set may already have the same version firmware so please follow the guide that comes with it carefully if it IS the same version firmware please come back here, as the set is new you may not be happy about having to do this yourself so if you are apprehensive please call in the warranty.

A full reset in the settings menu may work too however many people with smart sets dont like doing that however if you have to upgrade the firmware thats going to happen anyhow

Yeah OK

You will need to call in the warranty on the set then, the y will replace the mainboard, thats the one with all the AV connectors on, nothing else that can be explored sorry, unless you want to break the warranty by working on the set itself ?that doesnt seem to be a good idea when you can get it done for nothing, let me know if you need more info
