On a 32in flatscreen ty, the Auto store will not actually store

Customer Question

On a 32in flatscreen ty, the Auto store will not actually store the channels. It will run through the % bar, but not lock onto the stations. I have tested the antenna on another tv and this is ok. Have you any suggestions please?

Customer:

Hi your question was miscatagorized so I re set it for you;-)

Customer:

it should be in TV

Customer:

how old is your TV?

JACUSTOMER-fatxyshe- :

TV is about 5 years old. It belongs to a 92 year old lady, so is rather important.

JACUSTOMER-fatxyshe- :

Sorry are you waiting for further info?

Customer:

hI I am here

Customer:

have you tried a different Tv on that same antenna line?

Customer:

also are you set to "Antenna" not cable in the TVs menu?

JACUSTOMER-fatxyshe- :

No, but tried tv on another antenna (which is on a power splitter)

Customer:

still the same problem?

JACUSTOMER-fatxyshe- :

Have made sure setting is on Antenna, but same effect on other antenna which works fine on another tv.

Customer:

does the TV pick up any channels when you tried it on the other line?

Customer:

Thank you

JACUSTOMER-fatxyshe- :

None at all!

Customer:

The TV has a tuner issue that will need to be checked by a TV repairman

Customer:

because this is an electronic component failure, usually its the tuner or the connection port

JACUSTOMER-fatxyshe- :

I was rather afraid of that, thanks anyway.

Customer:

I wish I had better news for you I really do

Customer:

30 + years as a tech ;-)

JACUSTOMER-fatxyshe- :

At least we tried. Cheers.

Customer:

Thank you!
