Welcome to the site! I'm Dan, and I'd be happy to help.

Neil, is there a little light on the front of the TV? What is it doing? Also, I need the TV's model number and its age.

Red light is off, and you're sure power is getting to the TV. We need a meter... do you have a meter and can you use it safely?

Hi Dan

Not sure if you got last answer. Power lead has been checked with a digital test meter all ok.

OK if the TV is completely dead, no signs of life at all... then we're looking at a blown fuse, defective P-board (power supply), or defective A-board (main board).

On the P-board, there should be 2 line fuses... I believe they're F601 and F602... 10A / 250V. That's from the schematic on the US model so yours might be slightly different. Anyway we need to check those fuses.

Check them and get back to me.
