Hello , my name is Jack Perhaps I can help you with this problem but first i would have a few questions ;
Did it quit while watching it or simply would not turn on today ?
Could you please lookup your tv`s model number located on the back cover ?
would not turn on.32bv700b
Thanks , let me get some info on this model and in the mean time try this;
Unplug the TV's power cord and hold the power button directly on the tv ,keep holding it for 20 secs or so then let the tv sit unplugged for a couple of minutes before you try it again.Although i do not expect much out of this procedure , it has to be done to confirm that this problem can be cleared or not with a reset.If that does not do it then we are looking at internal problems with the tv.
let me know how that goes.
still not working
Thanks for waiting Leslie
Ok then as I said , I did not expect much out of it but it had to be tried
From your description and from what i could find on this model , it would appear that they have power supply circuits problems and this certainly would fit the bill at this time .
I don`t know if you had in mind to look into repairing this yourself but if so then you can get that power board at the link below for £ 21 ;
Note that there are 2 versions for this model and you will have to match yours before ordering.
If you or a friend is handy with a screwdriver then this can be done at home .
Otherwise you may be looking at around £ 100 parts included to have a shop repair this for you.
If that answers your question please do not forget to rate or you can use the reply button before or after rating if you have other questions or need help , thank you
