Audrey please pres the menu button of the set own remote control is the line OVER the top of the menu covering it?or is it BEHIND the menu?

Got it in January this year. It was off eBay from a Panasonic dealer, reconditioned but warranty for a year. It's not used a lot as its in a room we never use, probably about 10 viewing hrs!!

Audrey if the line is OVER the sets OWN menu you have a very serious problem as its my belief the LCD panel is bad, you MUST call your retailer and ask them to cover this under warranty, its my guess they will just swap the set, ordinarily it is not an option to replace the panel.
I am sorry for dismal news but that is the way it is. the panel is the screen.
