TV Repair Questions? Ask a TV Technician for Answers ASAP
Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble, Kate.
Do you see a setting to allow you to set the output to "Variable", rather than "fixed"?
Yes, I'm here. My apologies for the delay, the multiple replies can get lost in the queue.
You need to go into the tv audio menu, and there do you have it set to headphone, or to line out?It should be on headphone, if you don't see anything else to set fixed or variable.
It is imperative that you reply back to me here, on your original question only, please.
Posting new/duplicate questions costs you more and hinders my ability to reply.
Please reply back here on this page when ready.
I'm sorry I can't give you a more specific answer, but without basic information such as the model of the tv, I can only give some general information.I was simply asking you to CHECK if you had a variable or fixed option.
If you do not, then headphones is the proper setting, not line out, and you also then need to turn the volume on the tv up all the way.
If that still does not help, then it does point to a hardware issue which would require repairs or alternate equipment.
Can you give me the actual model number of the tv?
