I was wondering if it is common that I still feel a pain when I ejaculate I got tested for chlamydia at the doctors office and got the 1 dose antibiotics. It's been 7 days but still feel pain when I ejaculate and still feel like I pee too often. Any help would be great thank you

Yes I tested positive it was a urine test.

Did they tell you what batteries you had and what antibiotics you need to clear the infection?

Yes it was Azithromycin no didn't hear anything about batteries

Sorry for the typo. Batteries=bacteria If you still have pain and the urgency to urinate, it sounds like you may still have an infection. You need to go back to your doctor to have a repeat test done to see if you need a different antibiotic. Hope this helps.

The one time dose is to treat an STD. The week long course is for urine infections or persistent STD infections.
