My partner is a lady 78 years old. She had a fall on her left

Customer Question

My partner is a lady 78 years old. She had a fall on her left side this afternoon on a hard surface. She is feeling sore and now has some blood in her urine when she goes to the toilet. Nothing appears to be broken but we are very concerned. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is she on blood thinners?

The blood in the urine and the pain from the fall makes this concerning for a kidney injury. She needs to go to the ER for an urgent evaluation that will likely include a CT scan to dethrone of the kidney is injured. Hope this helps.

She is not on blood thinners !
Your advice to go to the ER is a very poor for a £24 answer to my question.
I think this website is a rip-off !

She doesn't have to be on blood thinners to bleed. The fall is concerning for a kidney injury and there is no way she can treat this at home. She needs a CT scan to rule out a life threatening injury to the kidney that she could potentially die from.
