Getting a speed related vibration between 30-50mph worsted at 40-45mph what can the cause be? Vibration does not change with engine revs

Hi..there..

Could be many things to cause vibration like that - normally the first step with anything like you describe would be to get the tyres checked out or inspected..if a tyre is unbalanced / damaged through kirbing,pothole damage..the that can cause a vibration to crop up under certain speeds..you may also feel it through the steering wheel itself..so those need to be checked..of course you could try swapping the back tyres over with the front..and then see if that problems solved..if it does then you know the tyres that where on the front are at fault...another check is to the suspension for wear in particualr to the balljoints//inner tie rod wear and track rod engine wear..also a careful inspection of the outer cv joints for wear too..so as above if not already done as suggested above then the tyres would be the first port of call here..I do hope this helps..if you require to ask anything further then please do before you rate
