Aloha! You're speaking with Dr. Michael Salkin
I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Poppy's change in mentation (glazed eyes) and posturing suggest a generalized seizure (previously called gran mal). Idiopathic (unknown cause) epilepsy is usually diagnosed at her age.

She should have remissed by now but if not, would need to be attended to by a vet who would heavily sedate or anesthetize her. Not coming out of a seizure is called status epilepticus and this state can be life-threatening. If she has normalized, there's no need to seek her vet's attention but you should mark your calendar for this event and make notes of what you witnessed. Poppy's vet will need all the information you can gather before deciding whether or not anticonvulsive medication is appropriate. Most of us will tolerate one mild (less than 10 minute duration, no thrashing about, no incontinence, no loss of consciousness) seizure monthly before considering anticonvulsives.

It's very early morning here and I have to leave my computer shortly. I promise to reply in the morning if need be.
