My cat has been retching and bringing up thick sticky foam.

Customer Question

My cat has been retching and bringing up thick white sticky foam. He seems lethargic but is still asking for something to eat though he seems to be having difficulty swallowing.
Should I be thinking about taking him to see an emergency vet? He is 13 years old.
