I have a rabbit that is pregnant and we are on day 32. She has not pulled any fur. Her tummy feels really hard. Any ideas on what to do next?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

As long as she doesn't appear in discomfort, isn't straining, and otherwise normal; we'd just monitor at this point. 32 days is an average pregnancy length, so some will be a bit early and others will go a bit over (just as human women do). So, we'd want to keep things calm, quiet, and give her as much privacy as we can. If you see any of those above signs or we don't have kits by day 34, then an ultrasound at her vets +/- a C-section may be indicated but for the moment we can give her a few more days.

Kind regards,

Dr. B.
