I have lines across the screen on my back camera. These transfer to the stored image. The front camera is ok. What can I do or is this permanant fault which will need a technician to fix?

Intermitantly about a month ago. Yes, I have checked for scratches etc. Not every image is affected - but most are. It looks more like a breakdown in either pixels or transfer of data from the camera to the screen and storage. Even images transfered to my PC carry the same imperfection.

The Front camera is fine. I have attached an image, although they can be worse than this.

It looks like it is interlacing it.

Can you go to settings, Applications

Look under ALL for Camera, press it and press Clear Data

Then look under ALL for Google Services framework

Press it and press Clear Data.

Once done, restart the camera and take a photo and tell me if you still get this problem please John

Ok, we need to rule out the firmware as the problem.

First, do you have any data you need to backup off the device?

As this is going to remove all data.
