Look carefully between the lens and the camera body for any sand, dirt or any damaged etc.Try turning the camera with the lens facing down and shake to dislodge anything stuck and try removing batteries and memory card, wait 5 minutes and refit the battery only and let me know the result...

I've looked for out for anything that maybe around the lenses and also taken out the battery and card so please let's wait for 5 minutes before switching it on as advised.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

after 5 mins tried it again but no difference

1. Remove the battery and memory card from the camera.
2. Let the camera sit with the battery and memory card removed
for approximately 20 minutes.
3. Clean your battery contacts with a clean cloth.
4. Reinstall the battery and power on the camera and let me know the result...

Did what you advised for 20 minutes no luck

Try compressed air. With a fine tip blow off gun and dry compressed air set the tip between the lens turret and the camera body and turn on the air while moving the tip around the lens. It should remove all dust and sand and let me know the result...
