Customer Question

I have a Z915 Kodak EasyShare camera. I have a problem in that although the camera takes and stores photographs, deals with 'smart cpature, and reviewing, it will not transfer pictures to my computer, review them there or indeed have anything to do with the computer.
Hope this makes sense!

Thank you that is it, now we need to see if the camera is being detected.
Click on start and then on my computer.
Watch the screen and disconnect the camera, then reconnect it, does something here disappear and then reappear?
.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I'm sorry, I presume you want me to connect the camera to the computer, and to switch it on.

I tried that and the light flashed, but nothing else happened, and the camera remained switched off. I'll try it with new batteries.

No change. On screen I have 'set date & time', this hasn't changed either.

Now can't switch it off!

It sounds like there may be a problem with the port on the camera, do you use a memory card with it?
.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes, I have a memory card installed.

Ok when the port on the camera fails in order to fix it the board it is integrated onto needs to be replaced. This normally costs around £75. Instead you can get a card reader like this: Click Here You plug the memory card into this reader, and then this reader into the usb port on the computer and it will allow you to transfer the images to the computer from the card.
