Digital Movie camera Xacti VPC-CG65EX BK. serial no

Resolved Question:

Digital Movie camera Xacti VPC-CG65EX BK. serial no 20420929. The problem I have is, that when showing the photographs of the photos already taken, the actual picture size on the screen (5.2 cms x 3.8cms) is reduced to 1.4cms x 1cm. I have tried everything I can think of to restore this image to full screen size without success. Can you help me please? Ron XXXXXX Email***@******.*** Tele: UK XXXXXXXXXXX

You need to resize the actual image.
You can follow the instructions on page 101 of the manual which you can open on my link below
http://us.sanyo.com/dynamic/product/Downloads/VPC-CG65_OM_English-13244148.pdf
This will allow you to change the image size smaller ONLY. You cannot resize the image to a larger size. It needs to be set correctly when the image was taken. The reason is you would lose the quality as not enough pixels are there to expand the image.
If you have any problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Dear *****ieE, Thankyou for your prompt reply. I haven't yet gone to the link you supplied because you say that following those instructions will only decrese the size of the image. In my first message to you I explained that the imageon screen at the moment is 1.4cms x 1cm - too small to even recognise who or what is on the picture. I want to get that image back to full screen size. Ron

You cant Ron, when ti is too small, it cannot be increased, there is no way at all to do this on the camera due to the reasons I explained.

RichieMe, I have read the paragraphs in the manual, but why has the camera suddenly reduced the picture size? is there no way of reparing it

or does this mean I should throw the camera away? As you have not rectified my problem I feel that £28 is excessive for a negative reply. However, you have given me some of your time and I would not feel too agrieved to give you £10. Ron

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
You would have resized it by accident.
I am not sure if it matters it is a negative answer, as I can only give you the correct answer.
But I will request a partial payment is processed...
