Can you remove the battery from the camera and leave it sit for 20 minutes (this will remove all residue power).

Then put the battery back in and tell me if it now functions correctly please.

Thank you

hi, I have removed the battery as you suggested for 20 minutes and have replaced it again. still having the same problem. the motor is still turning as if it is trying to operate and cutting out, then trying to go again. still no picture on the screen and I can now see through the lens.

Thanks David

Its the internal motor that is shorting out. It tries to generate the torque to turn, overloads and cuts out. It will be a faulting capacitor in the device that is causing it to short out.

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the device to have it replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you. But this component will have to be replaced.

I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
