I've been working hard to find a Professional to assist you with your question, but sometimes finding the right Professional can take a little longer than expected.
I wonder whether you're ok with continuing to wait for an answer. If you are, please let me know and I will continue my search. If not, feel free to let me know and I will cancel this question for you.
Please note, I am just a moderator for this category, I can only try and find experts to help, I can't answer the question itself.
I'm ok to wait for the moment thanks.
We will continue to look for a Professional to assist you.
Thank you for your patience,
It shows no sign of life with either battery.
Not sure on the age as I bought it second hand, and I've had it for 8 months.
The only thing that gives a sign of life is the charging light if I try and charge the battery through the camera.
The new battery came with a separate charger, so used that just in case it wasn't getting charged properly via the camera (when plugged in to the adapter).
Note that there is no sign of life in the camera when plugged into the adaptor without the battery.
Thr connections ate clean. And one battery is brand new. Also, the camera won't work from thr adapter either
$100 for the new board, and then no guarantee that that will fix the problem. Sounds like the same thing has gone on both video cameras. So unless I can get hold of a cheaper board, the cameras are a write off.
