my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
I want to warn you that it is possible you will need to replace a part in order to fix this.
There are a few different things that can cause this and a couple different parts so we would need to troubleshoot to find out .
What model Fuji is it?

That is not a good sign and unfortunately falls are very hard on the lens assembly. How old is the camera?
.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

about 4 to 4 years old

Darn even if you had an extended warranty it would be expired as they normally are around 3 years. The error you are getting when a reset does not work means the lens assembly was damaged and needs to be replaced. You can get a new one here: Click Here While the seller is in the USA they ship world wide. As labour it would cost an hour at the technicians rate. Any local camera or electronics repair shop should be able to do it, I do not suggest trying it yourself if you have never done it before. If you have any questions at all click on reply to expert and let me know. If not please don’t forget to leave a positive rating help - it is greatly appreciated. Please note you are rating me only not this site or your FinePix.
