Hi there. My name is ***** ***** it would be my pleasure to help with your issue.
Almost any camera shop can do a professional sensor cleaning on your camera, but there may be a way that you can get it without having to do that. Do you know if there is a mirror lock up setting on your camera?
Duh, sorry, that was a dumb question since it's mirrorless.
Correct, it is mirrorless
You may try giving it a short burst of canned air and see if you can dislodge whatever is on the sensor. That would be the first thing to try.
The reading that I have done say that canned air is not the way to go?
The reasoning behind that is because of the moisture that it creates. There are bulb tube air blowers made for just that purpose, but they are pretty much useless. You won't hurt anything using canned air as long as you use a short burst from it.
I am in the UK . Am going to New Orleans on Monday . Is there a shop that I could try.
I think that we are on the same page. I have already identified the "shop" and have emailed them earlier today. I picked on the same links .
I will try the shop as I am concerned not to damage the sensor.
Just had an email from Bennetts confirming that they can handle the problem
