Hello my name is ***** ***** well .No my laptop does not have a memory card slot

Expert:  Steve G. replied 2 years ago.
Ok, that's odd but ok.

My bestbest advice is to download Picasa which is a great free photo storage/catalogging program.

Then run the program and plug in your camera. Then ckick on IMPORT in Picasa and it will transfer your image files.

Are you sure you don't have a card slot? How old is your laptop?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

MY LAPTAP IS ABOUT 7 YEARS OLD TRYED PICASA DIDN'T WORK EITHER

Expert:  Steve G. replied 2 years ago.
Ok, when you say that Picasa didn't work, can you expand on that please?

Do you see the IMPORT button top left? If you press that does Picasa see the camera connected?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

NO THATS THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING .I'VE TRIED THAT ON MY COMPUTER AND NOW ON PISCASA COULD IT BE THE USB CABLE

Expert:  Steve G. replied 2 years ago.
It could be or it could be the computer.

Do you have a second laptop or PC in the home that you could try?

Also, to answer your original question, you can download the Utility software HERE

Install that and see if anything changes.

I'll be here.

I DON'T HAVE ANOTHER COMPUTER .I HAVE THE UTILITY DISC THAT CAME WITH THE CAMERA. MY CAMERA IS A CANON EOS 700D

Expert:  Steve G. replied 2 years ago.
So you have loaded the utility application?

If that is the case, it will start on it's own so I would think the problem lies with either the cable or the computer recognizing the camera.

This is common. The workaround is to purchase a USB card reader. They are only a few pounds and will read the card from the camera.
