Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem. I want to warn you that it is possible you will need to replace a part in order to fix this. There are a few different things that can cause this and a couple different parts so we would need to troubleshoot to find out for sure. Have you tried a different charger? Have you tried a different battery? What model is this?

Ok what about a different battery? If yo do not have another you can bring this one to a local electronics repair shop most will have a meter that they can test it with.

I live in England and I've already tried to get a new battery to no avail unless you can recommend a Panasonic Shop here??
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 2 years ago.
.
I would recommend testing the battery to make sure it is that first with a meter like I mentioned an electronics repair shop will normally have one. That way we know if it is the camera itself or the battery causing the problem. If it is the battery I can find you somewhere to order it that will ship to England.

Ok Freddy if you can recommend somewhere here I would appreciate it Regards Liz

I can not as I do not know England but any local smaller shop that repairs electronics should be able to do it. You can also do it yourself with a multimeter the voltage should be listed on the battery itself. If the battery tests out ok it would mean that the board inside the camera needs to be replaced.

You're welcome and that is completely up to you I would just avoid Kodak as their products are the flimsiest on the market right now due to their bankruptcy not long ago. If you have any questions at all click on reply to expert and let me know. If not please don’t forget to leave a positive rating for my help - it is greatly appreciated. Please note you are rating me only not this site or your Panasonic.
