Have the Panasonic FZ200 bridge camera. Is it

Customer Question

Hi, Hi Have the Panasonic FZ200 bridge camera. Is it possible to use my old Metz 32 Z-2 flash unit with this camera. I see that some of Nikon's cameras are able to but can find nothing regarding Panasonic cameras. Your thoughts Please Revd. Vince XXXXXXXXX

The Metz flash will not work on your camera. Newer digital cameras require a low trigger voltage, around 6-10v. The Metz flash is designed with a higher trigger voltage, around 300v. This is incompatible with most cameras on the market today.
