Have an old HV10 camcorder which has been fantastic but not

Resolved Question:

Have an old HV10 camcorder which has been fantastic but not used for a while. Left a tape in. When I turn it on error tells me to eject tape which it is unable to do. It pings as normal but does not pop up so tape cannot be removed or changed. It just stays in place, 'whirls' a bit then stops. Suggestions please as I have loads of tapes to upload and edit. Many thanks.

Thank you very much; it worked first time. Do you know why this happened and Is it likely to happen again as i have a lot of tapes to edit?! Kind regards, ***** *****

It was residue power that was built up, it can happen with this unit.
If it ever happens again you can just repeat the procedure I just gave.
