What model TV and are you using a USB stick on the Samsung?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

It`s a Samsung UE65HU8200 - Ultra HD tv and really that`s what I want to know, when Ive edited the 4K `footage`, what should I save it to so that I can view the edited footage on the tv, would a USB STICK do it then?

See paged 222 here, I suggest you use H.264, as .mkv or .mp4: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201411/20141127124859330/[ENG]NUDVBEUH-1.111-1015.pdf

I suggest you always use that method even the current bluray standard is troublesome when trying to make blurays it doesn't always work....
