I have a Panasonis DMR-EX97 Recorder with Disc and Hard Drive HDD recording facility
I did not put a password ***** on the Hard drive facility as I have no need for ot. However, when I go to open it up to play a recording i have made I can't. A box comes asking me for my password!!. I did not put a password ***** the machine.
How can I get rid of this very annoying problem making the hard drive facilty of no use to me.

Hello, my name is***** to Justanswer! Give me just a few minutes to look up some specifics, I'm working on this now.

If it's asking for a pin, the default is 0000. Try that first, and if that doesn't do the trick, we can reset it. Let me know how it works.

Thanks very much Rusty That has worked fine.
This is a new machine for me and I have a most annoying problem as well. I know it must be able to be adjusted but don't know how!
When watching a recorded programme I get what I presume must be for blind people, a voice describing what is going on as well as the actual voices of the programme. How do I stop this please
