Do you mean if you delete an email on your phone that it will delete on you computer, etc?

yes... I have Samsung galaxy phone and galaxy tablet, but they are not syncing....I also pick up yahoo email from work computer

The problem is that you setup the email accounts as POP accounts which means they do not universally sync to each other.

The easiest way is download the Yahoo! mail application from the Google Play store and use that instead of the built-in mail application because it will automatically sync everything for you.

If you want to try and use the built-in email program on the devices then you will need to delete the account and set it up this way..

If you are having problems setting up your yahoo mail on your Android or iOS device try setting it up as an “Other”. By choosing this option you will need to manually type in the server settings listed below. Also, if there is an option for “manual setup,” choose this as well.

Incoming Server Settings

Username: [email protected] (enter in your complete yahoo email address)
Password: Enter in your yahoo email password
IMAP Server:
Port: 143
Security Type: None
IMAP Path Prefix: Leave blank / Optional

Outgoing Server Settings (SMTP)

Port: 587
Security Type: None
Check “Required Sign-In”
Username: [email protected]
Password: Your email password
