To clarify, the G10 does start, but as soon as it is running, the charging stops.

But when it is turned off, it does start?

Thank you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No it does not charge at all

ok, but does it still turn on Brenda?

And if so, how much power does it still have?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

yes about 6%

Go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications.

Press it and press Clear Data.

Once done, restart the phone and tell me if it is now charging please Brenda.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Its a tablet not a phone

My apologies, it was a typo Brenda, the instructions are still the same.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Ok, if it is still not charging, how are you charging? From a Wall Socket or from your computer?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

wall socket

Can you try to use another charger cable and tell me if it will charge from this to rule this out as the fault.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I don't have one but am beginning to wonder if the cable is faulty too

It is now the likely cause Brenda, as we are ruling out the most common causes.

Are you able to borrow one from a friend, or go to the shop to test it?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I will have to try and borrow or buy one but have to go now anyway. Thank you for your help
