I have a Samsung Galaxy tablet 2 10.1. After switching on and the initial logo I then just get the words Samsung with a blue flash across it (as if software is being downloaded in the background or something)
Any ideas

Hi, I am A. Stevens here to help with your question!

A. Stevens :

It appears that your tablet is now in "download" mode.

A. Stevens :

You can attempt a factory reset, but it may not work.

A. Stevens :

You may have to load the software manually using a software called ODIN.

A. Stevens :

Give this a try first:

A. Stevens :

Press and hold the Power/Lock key, tap Power off, and then tap OK to turn off the tablet.
Press and hold the Power/Lock key and Up Volume key at the same time.
Release the Power/lock key when the Samsung logo appears.
Release the Up Volume keys when the Android image appears.
When the menu appears, press the Up Volume key to select wipe data / factory reset.
Press the Power/Lock key to select.
Press the Down Volume key to scroll to Yes – delete all user data.
Press the Power/Lock key to select.
Press the Power/Lock key to select reboot system now.

Tried the factory reset but didn't work. Will investigate odin.
