I have a new Samsung S5 mini I used the fingerprint option

This answer was rated:

I have a new Samsung S5 mini
I used the fingerprint option for the screen lock but it has stopped letting me in.
It asks for an alternative password ***** I never set one
I have tried several of my usual passwords with no success.
Welcome and thanks for your question.
I'm Todd and I will be the expert working with you today to help resolve your problem.

First of all sorry for the late response. Your question is something that we call "bad messenger" question, for that reason many Experts do not wish to answer this kind of question.
The only solution for this issue will be to perform procedure that will delete fingerprint and alternative lock, but this procedure will also delete all data from internal phone memory too. Memory card data (pictures, videos, music are by default stored on memory card) will not be affected.
Will that be OK?

Will this procedure remove my contact phone numbers

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, yes. If you have registered and synced your Google account with your phone you will be able to bring it back, but if your contacts are not synced with Google account, all your contacts will be permanently deleted.

Let me know if you want to proceed.
