What happens when you try to text a short number?
What error are you receiving?

When sent it says sending then comes back saying failed / resend.

ok, a lot of times a block is on this to avoid people subscribing to text services (that use this number) and have repeating charges. If the phone can send text to normal numbers, then this is going to be the cause.
Call your phone provider eg: O2, Vodaphone, and have them remove this block and you can then text these numbers.
If you are unsure of the number to call, tell me who your provider is Miles and I can provide you the number to call.
If you have any problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Call 0844 322 11 33 from your Mobile (as it is then a free call).
