HI,Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N5120 tablet how to switch on
JA: How old is your Galaxy Note?
Customer: Not sure, but they came out in 2014 - its a 10 inch modelThe tablet is dead. Have tried ; holding power button / power button plus volume up and down and plus home screen button. Is there an internal reset switch?
JA: Anything else you want the Android Expert to know before I connect you?

Try this please>

  1. Press and hold the Power key and Up Volume key at the same time.
  2. Release the Power key when the Samsung logo appears.
  3. Release the Volume keys when the Android image appears.
  4. Press the Volume keys to highlight Reboot. Then confirm with Power button.

okay, does the light come on when charging?

No lights show on charge, though my smart charger tells me it does not need carrying.

Unfortunately this sounds like it might be a hardware issue, if you are sure that the charger is working properly then that means the kindle has a hardware failure.
