Customer Question

We have found in the loft a watercolour by Alan Simpson of the Embankment, that we bought in the 70's in the Henley art gallery, do you think it is worth anything?

Good day, my name is***** you for your question. I checked the current art market to see how well watercolors by Alan Simpson (1941) perform in the secondary market. The most recents sales show values of £50 - £100. Local auctions such as: Mallams , Oxford, Oxfordshire and Keys Fine Art Auctioneers, Aylsham, Norfolk. At this point in time it does not appear that a major collector base for the artist has developed. If you like it bring it out of the loft and enjoy it. Cheers Tim
