Hello. I have a Chinese pot I'm wondering what it is for and what the value is
JA: Hi there. Do you know how old the item is?
Customer: No, sorry I have no idea
JA: What condition is the item in?
Customer: Very good condition apart from 1 chip on the lid
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Antiques Appraiser should know?
Customer: Dont think so

If you are able to send a photo please I will be happy to advise you. Greg

Did you get my earlier reply? Greg

No I didn't. Sorry

I was asking what area you are in so that I can arrange a free valuation from someone who can see it first hand. I do not think that it is antique or particularly valuable but Chinese ceramics and especially the symbols are of course a very specialised field. It would need to be seen first hand for any reliable valuation. Sorry to not resolve your question myself. Greg
