I have a collection of capodimante ornaments that my elderly neighbour wants me to sell for him. Is that something you could help me with?
JA: The Antiques Appraiser can help. You can also send photos once I've connected you. Do you know how old the collection is?
Customer: His late wife bought them throughout the 70's
JA: What condition is the collection in?
Customer: There are 10 pieces. 8 are perfect with certificates and 2 have slight damge
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Antiques Appraiser should know?
Customer: I think they all have the stamp and signature on the base

Sadly, while the retail purchase price may be high for these figures they have never enjoyed a good resale figure. In an auction I worked at in London I was told not to take them in to sell. I would therefore value these at 100-150 usd the whole set. I am sorry if this is disappointing and I hope to provide better news in future.
