I have a 4 year old Zanussi machine Model ZWF16070W1 Product

I have a 4 year old Zanussi machine Model ZWF16070W1 Product XXXXXXXXX 00 I have purchased a new door seal Part no RS242516 it appears to be the correct one I have removed the old seal which order do I replace the new one in. Do I put on the inside first with the sprung wire and then the outside one next with the plastic clamp.

Hi Brian
Yes, you need to attach the seal the the outer drum first.
When that is in place, you attach the seal to the cabinet.

To make attaching the seal to the outer drum a bit easier, run a small amount of washing up liquid in the groove that lips over the drum.
This will act as a lubricant and get it to slide on more easily

You didnot say if the spring is fitted to the seal and then the seal is put on the inner drum or the other way around. ie the seal is fitted to the drum and then the spring is atteched

You have to attach the seal first then attach the clamp/spring.
This is the case on the drum and on the cabinet
