I have a zanussi DF62/21FF fridge freezer .The freezer is working

Customer Question

I have a zanussi DF62/21FF fridge freezer .The freezer is working but the fridge is not. Light comes on but adjusting the thermostat makes no difference. I suspect the thermostat but I cannot find out how to get to it. I'm a sound engineer and quite capable of fitting a new thermostat if I can get to it. Can you help please. Bernard XXXXXX.

Sorry for the delay in getting to your question.

If you feel the back wall inside the fridge does any part of it feel cold?

If you press on it all over does any part feel spongey like you can press it in.

As to the thermostat if the freezer is running then it wont be the thermostat as the thermostat brings the compressor on. As the feezer is working then the thermostat is doing its job.
