Customer Question

I have an AEG lavamat turbo 16830, about 4 years old.
It now has a recurrent problem - when I start it, it fills with a bit of water and then stops and can't be re-started. There are no error messages. This happens constantly until, after I leave it for a bit, it can suddenly be restarted again.

What's happening?

Sorry for the delay lets see what the error code is.

To do this you need to set it onto a spin cycle

Then you need to press and hold the button on the left on each row.

Hold them both in and after a few seconds the error code will come up E??

Let me know the code.

Ok what you will find here is the dryer element is at fault. As it goes down to earth and causes the fault you have now.

What you need to do is pull washer out and take the top off.
From there you will see the dryer chamber going from front to back.
At the back you will see 4 wires this is the dryer element. Pull the wires off and tape them up. Then retry the washer and fingers crossed this will work.

Then if it does the dryer element will need to be replaced. But the wash side will work fine with the dryer element disconnect like this.
